Acquisition of Non-Participating Vowels in Vowel Harmony

Hello,

I am interested in the acquisition of vowel harmony processes,
specifically how kids learn non-participating vowels (transparent
vowels/opaque vowels), and the types of errors that are made in the
learning process. If anyone has any good suggestions for resources/
studies done, it would be much appreciated.
