Position:       Assistant/Associate Professor, Speech-Language Pathology Communication Sciences and Disorders, University of South Florida

Appointment:    As early as August, 2010. Full-time, 9-month tenure track faculty appointment, contingent upon funding.

Qualifications: Requirements: Ph. D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Psychology, Education, or other related discipline is required by the start date. Preferred qualifications: 1) Eligible for CCC, 2) Expertise in one of the following areas: child language and literacy or adult neurogenic disorders. 3) Interest in bilingualism, especially Spanish. Other specialty areas in SLP will be considered.  For consideration at the rank of Associate Professor, the applicant must have a record of scholarly productivity and evidence of a research program that could lead to external funding. For consideration at the rank of Assistant Professor, the applicant must demonstrate potential for scholarly publications and show promise of a research program that could lead to external funding. Summer teaching is possible.

Responsibilities:       Develop and teach graduate and undergraduate courses in areas of specialty; advise Master's and Doctoral students. Conduct research, seek external funding, publish in areas of interest, and provide service to the department, college, university, and profession.

Salary: Negotiable, depending upon qualifications.
