I may have already told this anecdote here:
My daughter's first "word" was:
'Don't touch it, it's mine!'
(with most of the consonants and all of the intention intact).

Can you guess that she was the second child?
This word-sentence was followed by mama, dada, brother, book, etc. in the
more typical fashion.
