Please help: calculating the freq of specific CHAT codes

Dear Jill,

To calculate FREQ for special symbols you need to write the following
command:

freq +t*CHI +s"*@s" xxx.cha

This command reads as follows: the name of the command is "freq". You then
specify the speaker code, in this case *CHI stands for "child", then using
the +s flag followed by double quotation marks and an * you specify the
string you are looking for, and then write the file name (instead of the
xxx) and press ENTER.
