postings regarding CLAN programs

Dear Info-CHILDES,

    In the past, when people post messages to info-childes regarding the operation of specific CLAN programs, I have usually replied that these messages should be posted to chibolts at googlegroups.com instead.  However, I realize that this is heavy-handed and impolite.  So, in the future, I will only reply in a separate message to the person posting the query.  I will answer their questions directly and still encourage them to use chibolts list in the future.  I will no longer post reminders to info-childes about this separation of the two lists and particularly I will not make any such posts directly after a person has posted a query of this type.  Hopefully, we can still keep the lists separate in this way these heavy-handed interventions on my part.
