My daughter, now 2;3, persistently uses "you" "your" and "yours" instead of
"I" "me" "my" or "mine" (in Mandarin). Sometimes the adults would
mistakenly think that she's being very generous when she says, "Give you a
peach" or "You eat this" or "This is for you" when she's really requesting
rather than offering.
