Postdoctoral position

[Susan Graham]

The Language and Cognitive Development Lab (Dr. Susan Graham: http://psyc.ucalgary.ca/lcdlab/) and the Speech Development Lab (Dr. Suzanne Curtin: http://psychology.ucalgary.ca/speechlab/) are accepting applications for a joint postdoctoral fellowship position for 2013-2014. The labs are in the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary. The post-doctoral fellow will have the opportunity to collaborate on ongoing and planned studies exploring early word learning and categorization in infants and young children as well as develop new studies. The laboratories use behavioral and eye tracking techniques to investigate language and cognitive development in infancy. Research in the labs is funded by grants from NSERC, SSHRC, NSF, and NIH.

Applicants must recently have obtained, or expect to have, a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field, and can be either Canadian or foreign citizens.

The stipend for this postdoctoral fellowship will range between $45 000 and $50 000. The term is for one year, renewable for a second year.
