good measure of receptive syntax?

Have you tried the DELV from Psychological Corporation (Seymour, Roeper,
deVilliers)?  It has long-distance movement, sentential and
inter-sentential quantification,
passives with implicit arguments, and many other things that are crucial to
reading after 4th grade.
