When should we consider speech production onset delayed?

Dear Fatima,

The advice already given is sound, sensible and reassuring. However, as a
speech-language pathologist, I always take a lot of notice if parents are
concerned about speech and language acquisition in their OWN children, and
encourage them to trust their judgement with regard to seeking referral to
(if one is necessary in their country or region) and assessment by an
SLP/SLT.
