Description:
Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish. Beginning August 
2008. Two-year appointment renewable. Five courses per year, 
including language courses. Field(s) of specialization open, but 
must include translation studies, localization and/or 
computational linguistics. Practical knowledge of translation 
environment tools required. Experience in multimodal translation 
highly desirable. Applicants must have a firm commitment to 
undergraduate teaching and submit evidence of same, including 
course evaluations, and a sample proposal and syllabus of an 
advanced undergraduate course in translation technologies. 
Candidates not holding the PhD but who are otherwise qualified 
will be considered for a non-tenure track instructorship to teach
