[Lexicog] dictionary software

Some queries have come up on the mailing list regarding the price of
TshwaneLex. The final pricing has not yet been decided upon, and will
be determined closer to the release date of the software, which is
currently planned for around July/August. For commercial users, the
price will be approximately 1500 Euro per license for the full network-
capable version. Academic licenses, non-profit licenses, and licenses
for individuals or organizations doing work on endangered languages,
will be available for approximately 100 Euro. The online dictionary
software module will be licensed separately, and the price for that is
expected to be in the same range. These price estimates have been
derived based on the costs involved with developing our software.

We believe the cost of TshwaneLex would definitely be worth the
investment, and that the software would effectively 'pay for itself'
due to various timesaving features and an easy learning curve.
