Dear Toolboxers,

This is just a bit of information and feedback on the newest version of
Toolbox.

I have been using Toolbox 1.4 but a couple of days ago upgraded to
version 1.5.1

While Toolbox 1.4 hardly ever crashed on me (maybe once in three months,
working with it on daily bases), version 1.5.1 is crashing several times
a day. It seems that most of these crashes happen when I press arrow to
move the cursor down through the dictionary fields (this happened on two
different computers, both running Win.XP).

A few other bugs. When the cursor stands in a vernacular field and I
press backspace in order to change the field marker, the keyboard
remains in the vernacular setting which disables me from typing some of
the field markers. This was not the case in version 1.4 where I could
type the field marker coming from any field.

Also Toolbox 1.5.1 sometimes asks me if I really want to change the
field marker and I have to click on YES, which seems like a redundant
step.

Moreover, some of the hotkeys have been changed: Ctrl+Alt+P (last entry)
and Ctrl+Alt+N became F3 and Shirt+3, searching hot keys Ctrl+D (search
up) and Ctrl+G (search down) has been changed to something else (don't
recall now what it was).

I have always considered changing hot keys in newer versions to be a bad
habit of Microsoft and feel very sorry to see it happen in Toolbox. It
is difficult to get used to new hot keys when one works with the old one
for years.

There might be other changes which I didn't notice because I returned to
version 1.4.

The hot keys probably wouldn't make me re-install the older version, but
the crashes definitely did.

I hope I am not missing some significant improvements of version 1.5.1

Jan
