Dear Ron,

I have *A Hebrew and English Lexicon of the Old Testament With An Appendix
Containing The Biblical Aramaic* / based on the lexicon of William Gesenius
as translated by Edward Robinson, ed. by Frances Brown with co-operation of
S.R. Driver and Charles A. Briggs, Oxford: Clarendon Press [no date]
This is a reprint of an old dictionary, published in 1906 and reprinted in
1951. It was reprinted many times and is widely available. Among the
learners of Biblical Hebrew it is known as BDB. This is not the best
Biblical Hebrew dictionary.

There is much better dictionary

*The Hebrew & Aramaic lexicon of the Old
Testament*<http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/44139222&referer=brief_results>
by Walter Baumgartner; M E J Richardson; Johann Jakob Stamm; et al
2000 ed. in four vol. and 2002 in two vols. There are much better semantic
distinctions there than in the old dictionary based on Wilhem Gesenius work.

This dictionary is also widely available and even CD version exists.

I do not know where are you located, but the last dictionary should be
present in every academic library
in the institutions where the study of Bible is included in curriculum. The
same is true about the former
dictionary.
