The Overkruin and Montana High Schools applied for the interdict against
MEC Lesufi. They were delivered last night (Tuesday).

Lesufi is expected to appear in court this morning.

Last year, the Constitutional Court ruled in favour of the Education
Department over language policies.

At the time, the Federation of Governing Bodies of South African Schools
took the department to court.

The court ruled that language policies set by governing bodies may
constitute discrimination based on race.
