Nominating others: SLA Elections

Hi, all:

As you know, we will be holding elections soon for two open positions on
the SLA Executive Committee: *Member at Large or President-Elect*. While
officially I'm supposed to ask you to self-nominate, I also *welcome your
nominations of others* -- particularly for President-Elect.  If you have
colleagues you feel would make a great President-Elect, please nominate
them. * Please check with your colleagues first to make sure they are
willing to run.* Once you've done so, please forward me their names and I
will work with them to collate their materials for the upcoming elections.

Those materials are easy to assemble and consist of a short bio, a short
platform statement (200 words max), and a photo (optional). *The deadline
for submitting the slate to AAA is February 15th*. So please *contact me
about nominees -- yourself or someone else -- as soon as possible*.
