[Linganth] Youtube Videos in Class: What to do about ads?

Hi all!

I've been using at times this site:

www.clipconverter.cc

If I remember correctly, the advantage to some other sites was that it
allows specifying quite exactly the download settings, i.e. if there was
a very high quality version available some sites downloaded
automatically some of the lower quality versions anyway. But there are
so many of these sites that certainly many of them work similarly.

There is also a small command line program called youtube-dl. This can
be useful for some users as well:

https://rg3.github.io/youtube-dl/

On Mac one goes to the folder and uses the command "youtube-dl
https://www.youtube.com/...". It saves the file to that folder. There
are different options for getting separate audio and video etc. I
remember automating the download of one minority language TV-serie with
this, as there were tens of episodes in YouTube.
