*Job Description:*

The Department of Anthropology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst
seeks to hire a scholar at the Assistant Professor level for Fall 2019 with
specialization in the study of language and culture in relation to
medicine, illness and health.  PhD in Anthropology or closely related field
required at the time of appointment.

The courseload is 2/2 and will include both introductory large lecture
courses as well as advanced graduate and undergraduate seminars.  PhD in
Anthropology or closely related field required at the time of appointment.
