The Department of Anthropology seeks applications for a College Fellow in Linguistic and Semiotic Anthropology. Expertise in Ethnographic Methods for Digital Media is strongly preferred.

The appointment is expected to begin on 07/01/2021. The College Fellow will have teaching responsibilities, with 25 percent of the appointment reserved for the Fellow’s own research. Duties will include teaching introductory and advanced undergraduate courses in linguistic and semiotic anthropology, including method and theory in the ethnography of digital and online media, as well as advising and evaluating senior theses.

The appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year, contingent on performance, position availability, curricular need, and divisional dean authorization.
