Interesting thread; I’m taking notes of the resources.  Thanks all.

Can’t help but think about the complexities of the positionalities involved.  I think it’s worth thinking about who are seen as the “abhorrent other” and by whom in the anthropological/ethnographic accounts….

For the sake of others (and yourself):
- if you can vaccinate, please do;
- be mindful that there are still times and places that wearing a mask is required because not everyone can vaccinate;
- cloth masks aren’t very effective against recent COVID-19 variants, N95s and KN94s are much better;
- keep washing your hands frequently.
