Dear colleagues,

Please excuse our cross listing this email or if you have already posted
your responses to the survey (thank you if you have!). But we have now
extended the deadline to July 31 for responding to this SLA Language and
Social Justice Task Force survey, found here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScBARBsjgZPPhIMf2NgrU1G4jEP5XrXBj2g3LhqZZAZBVB-2w/viewform
.

The goal of this survey is to collect examples of successful public
communication about language and social justice in order to create a “best
practices” document to be shared on the SLA website available to all.
You'll also see that there is one question that invites you to let us know
if you would like to become more involved with this initiative.

The survey itself should take you no more than a few minutes to complete.
And we ask that you do it by the end of July.

Thanks so much!

Rodney Hopson (U Illinois-Urbana Champaign), Jocelyn Ahlers (CSUSM), Kate
Riley (Rutgers), and Lori Donath (University of South Carolina)
