Research Officer in Computer Support for Writing
Fixed term for two years
up to 16299 pounds per annum.   Ref:  BB455
 
For a new interdisciplinary project developing intelligent tools to support
non-native writers of extended texts.  The Research Officer will help adapt
the design of an existing writing environment written in POP 11 and
reimplement it.  The ideal candidate will be a confident programmer interested
in HCI, familiar with the linguistic issues involved in academic writing, and
have either a Masters degree or equivalent experience.
