            Winter IATL Workshop: First Call for Abstracts
 
The next winter workshop of the Israeli association for theoretical
linguistics (IATL) will take place on Monday, February 5, 1996, at the
Computer Science Department, Technion, Haifa. The central topic chosen
for this workshop is Discourse.  The invited speaker will be
Prof. Dr. Martin Stokhof, U. of Amsterdam, who will present the state
of the art in Dynamic Semantics.
 
Submissions are invited of abstracts of papers presenting high
quality, original research in theoretical linguistics.  Topics are not
confined to Discourse only!  Abstracts should be no longer than three
pages (excluding figures, references, etc.), and are limited to one
per author (two per coauthor).
 
Abstracts should be submitted until November 15, 1995, and sent in
five copies to:

    Computer Science Department, Technion,
    Haifa 32000,
    Israel.
    E-mail: francez at cs.technion.ac.il
Electronic submissions in standard Latex are welcome.  The abstract
should not indicate authors. A separate author identification,
including e-mail address if available, should accompany the abstract.
 
Notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent by December 20.
