SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEERS - NATURAL LANGUAGE TESTING

Two Positions - Currently looking for Linguistic Testers for Spanish and
English

The Natural Language Group  (NLG) at Microsoft develops products that
analyze and understand human language, enhancing features throughout
Microsoft products, including grammar checking and information retrieval.
NLG Linguistic Testers at Microsoft work with research linguists and
developers in NLG to improve the quality of our state-of-the-art NLP
technology.  Testers communicate quality and testedness of linguistic
components and products throughout their product cycle.  Primary
responsibilities include developing tests, test plans and test automation.
Additional responsibilities include owning testing of key components that
enable morphology analysis, parsing, and semantics processing of natural
language text. Familiarity with linguistics, computational linguistics or
natural language processing required.  Qualifications include the aptitude
to employ effective test methodology, automation and/or tools to achieve
maximum coverage in the most efficient way, although experience in this area
is not required. A BA/BS in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics,
Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.  (For Spanish position,
ability to fluently read and write Spanish required.)
