The LINGUIST List strongly encourages employers to use
non-discriminatory standards in hiring policy. In particular we urge
that employers do not discriminate on the grounds of race, ethnicity,
nationality, age, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. However, we
have no means of enforcing these standards.

Job seekers should pay special attention to language in ads regarding
employment requirements and are encouraged to consult our international
employment page http://linguistlist.org/jobnet.html.

This page has been set up so that people can report on the employment
standards of various countries.

Good afternoon,

Greetings! My name is Edward Henseler and I work for Jubilee Tech
International, a full-service translation and localization firm located
in Virginia, USA.

Jubilee has been awarded a project with tremendous potential and we are
trying to find freelance translators with specific language skills.
There are many countries targeted for this project. They include the
following in alphabetical order:

Belgium, Botswana, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong,
India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway,
Philippines, Portugal, Romania, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey,
United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

This project will require translation from American English to the
native language (for example American English to Turkish). We are
looking for individuals who have obtained at least one degree in the
United States or who have spent time teaching or living in the United
States for a brief period of time.

If you are a native of any of these countries and would like to be a
part of our freelance translation team, please let me know by emailing
this address: linguist at jubileetech.com

Thank you for taking the time to read my e-mail and for any help that
you are willing to provide.

With kind regards,

Edward J. Henseler
