Information Extraction at Xigo, San Francisco, CA

Xigo, a pre-IPO startup specializing in information for online
investors, is looking for someone with a background in information
extraction (IE), computational linguistics, or natural language
processing to join our text analysis team.  The position would be a
combination of applied research and software engineering, involving
anything from evaluating possible IE techniques to implementing
components of our system.  The ideal candidate will be equally
comfortable browsing the research literature, writing the code, and
designing the experiment to evaluate it.  An M.S. or equivalent is
required for this job.
