in our Princeton, NJ campus. This is an opportunity to be part of a team
conducting research in natural language processing and to grow
professionally. You will be responsible for the investigation,
evaluation, adaptation and programming  of emerging natural language
processing technologies, through independent and collaborative research
in automated text analysis for the English language. Candidates should
have the ability to apply scientific, technical, programming and
software engineering skills in contributing to the development of new
products and services for assessment  and instruction.

A Master's or Ph.D. degree in computer science and an interest in
natural language processing or an equivalent combination of education
and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be
acquired are necessary. Evidence of independent software engineering
experience is required. Facility with both UNIX and Windows NT
environments as well as C, C++, Perl, Java and relational database
programming languages and object oriented design skills are required.
Experience with existing public NLP tools is desirable.
