Internship at Microsoft Research

We are pleased to announce an internship opportunity in the Natural
Language Processing group at Microsoft Research in Redmond,
Washington.  Please feel free to forward this mail to anyone who may
be interested.

We are looking for an intern to participate in the design and
implementation of a generation component prototype for German within
the Microsoft Natural Language Processing System. This prototype will
learn mappings from semantic representations (logical form graphs) to
German strings.  Qualified applicants must be pursuing a graduate
degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics or related
discipline.  A specialization in machine learning approaches to NLP,
good programming skills (C++), and a basic knowledge of the German
language is also required.  Familiarity with natural language
generation is desired.

Microsoft relies on its Research division to lead the way in
identifying and developing the technologies of the new century.

research in key technical areas, published papers based on their
summer work at MSR, established strong ties with our industrial
research staff as well as other interns, been challenged to look at
super tough problems in new ways, and all the while, having fun doing
it.
