Knowledge Engineer
	
Simpli.com is hiring talented people to propel our search and
eCommerce infrastructure technology into the forefront of the Internet
revolution.  All positions are based in Providence, RI.  Simpli.com is
looking for knowledge engineers to help organize the current
information in our knowledgebase and to gather more. Ideal candidates
will be highly motivated, extremely organized, web-surfing
aficionados. A love of trivia and technology, careful attention to
detail, strong language skills, and a lot of common sense are
essential to taking on the challenge of categorizing an extremely
diverse array of information.
	
Required:  BA/BS, experience with standard classification and cataloging
	   schemes, creating new schemes, and database manipulation.
Preferred: programming, Emacs, and UNIX proficiency, a linguistics
	   background and/or ALA-accredited MLS (or MLS-candidate),
           and supervisory experience.
	   Compensation commensurate with experience.
           Competitive benefits package.
