Senior Research Scientist (NLP)

Responsibilities:
- Join an exciting new effort in Natural Language Processing
  (NLP)/Natural Language Understanding (NLU).
- Major focus on developing the capability to reliably infer the intent
  behind a variety of types of utterances and commands.
- Focus on bringing higher level linguistic knowledge to bear in speech
  recognition and speech synthesis.

Requirements:
- Candidate should be conversant with all stages of language processing,
  from morphological analysis through discourse, including knowledge of a
  broad array of parsing techniques and grammar formulations, both
  deterministic and probabilistic.
- A strong programming background in C/C++ is essential.
- The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the idea of automatically
  extracting linguistic information via the statistical analysis of
  corpora, and eager to assist in the design and collection of such
  corpora.
