GERMAN, Asst. Prof., tenure-track: contingent on funding.

Required: Ph.D. in German linguistics with competency in teaching
courses in German language and culture, structure of German, history
and dialectology of German, and courses in literature and general
linguistics.
Required: native or near-native fluency in German, college-teaching
experience, publication or demonstrated scholarly promise, evidence of
excellence in teaching, and a commitment to rebuilding the German
program.

Department faculty participates in such interdisciplinary programs as
Women's Studies, Ethnic Studies, Latin American Studies, Judaic
Studies, as well as a Doctoral Program in Comparative Studies.
