Assistant/Associate Professor Positions
Department of Foreign Languages and Literature
Start Date: August 1, 2002

Application materials: 1) cover letter in English, 2) vita, 3) copy of
diploma, 4) copy of graduate transcripts, and 5) three reference
letters.

Three faculty positions teaching language-oriented undergraduate and
TEFL graduate courses.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. in TEFL, Applied
Linguistics, Curriculum and Instruction, or other relevant fields,
preferably with background in sociolinguistics, language
testing/assessment or educational technology.

One faculty position teaching literature and language-oriented
undergraduate courses.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. in literature,
preferably with background in American Literature or Cultural Studies.

Deadline for receipt of applications: March 1, 2002.  We require a
minimum 3-year commitment for all positions.  Please enclose phone and
