Meeting Description:

The 56th Annual Kentucky Foreign Language Conference will be held
April 24-26, 2003 at the University of Kentucky.  The conference will
include sessions devoted to theoretical linguistics, sociolinguistics,
and applied linguistics.

Call for Papers:

Papers will be 20 minutes in length, followed by a 10-minute discussion
period. Proposals of no more than two pages in length should be sent,
preferably via email, by November 8th to Anna Bosch at:

Panel 'Language and emotions: A cross-linguistic perspective' which
we want to convene at the International Pragmatics Conference 2003.
				
We expect authors to contrast and to compare emotion concepts in two
