We are happy to announce that SOUTH ASIAN LANGUAGE REVIEW (SALR), a
biannual journal published in India beginning with January 1991 plans
to bring out a special issue on the theme `Computational
Semantics'. Papers are sought in areas which include, but are not
limited to, the following topics:

        * meaning representation in natural language dialogues
        * construction and use of natural language semantic
representations
        * knowledge representation and reasoning in meaning
computation
        * the computational semantics-pragmatics interface
        * modelling and using context for semantic interpretation
        * computational semantics of speech acts
        * semantic aspects of language generation
        * shallow processing and formal semantics
        * building semantic interfaces in grammars
        * word sense disambiguation
