Description:

The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Linguistics, invites
applications for a three-year visiting assistant professor, beginning
Fall 2004, pending budgetary approval. Applicants must have a solid
training in linguistic description and analysis in Hispanic
Linguistics, as well as competence in one or more of the following
areas: multilingualism, language acquisition, psycholinguistics,
sociolinguistics, phonetics/phonology, historical linguistics, or a
specialization that complements the current research profile of the
department.

Candidates should send a CV (including a list of funded research if
applicable), a statement of research and teaching interests, copies of
two reprints or other written work, and teaching evaluations
(required). At least three reference letters must be sent directly to
