I am investigating the effect of phonological complexity on
phonological encoding in persons who stutter. I was hoping to study
complexity by varying the number of phonological words. Howerver, my
search for literature on phonological words has not taken me too
far. I was wondering whether somebody has a good reference for
phonological words?  Thank you.

Subject:  english loan-words in japanese

hi,

i am a 1st year student undertaking an independent study of english
loan words in the japanese language (Gairaigo).

i want to look at the problems faced by westerners learning the
language when they come across these words as it is not always
immediately obvious as to their origin. this can be due to the
phonetic systems where all consonants are followed by vowels (thus the
student has to pick out the irrelevant vowels in the relevant places
in order for it to sound recognisable to them in english) and also
when pseudo loan words are encountered i.e. words that sound as though
they have come from english but have been created by the japanese.

i would appreciate any advice or guidance in my endeavour from anyone
who has any interest in this field.  many thanks.
