YOUR MISSION

* Advance the state-of-the-art in language-learning technology and
bring it to a much broader audience

WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Lead research and development of new multimedia-intensive
  language-learning technology
* Drive end-to-end development from concept definition thru product
  launch
* Analyze user behavior to refine product requirements and
  feature/technical specifications
* Develop high-performance user interaction methods, authoring tools,
  and courseware content
* Manage software developers to achieve product quality within
  schedule objectives

YOUR SKILLS
* Expert in language learning, educational theories, and methods for
  using media for teaching
* Experienced with creating instructional media and teaching tools
* Familiarity with software project development and management of
  technical resources
* Strong PC skills and familiarity with digital media types including
  Video, Flash and Web/HTML
* Strong presentation / communication skills for diverse educational
  and technical audiences
* Pragmatic management skills with a common-sense grasp of priorities

YOUR NATURE
* A passion for making a difference in language education
* Intellectual curiosity for how learning works, and how to make it
  better
* High-energy, hands-on doer who enjoys organizing, making decisions,
  and getting things done
* Imaginitive problem-solver who can find novel ways to overcome

YOUR TRACK RECORD
* 5-7 years of related experience in language education and project
  leadership
* BA / MA in education, educational or instructional technology or
  information technology
* Experience in education research that has resulted in demonstrable
  improvements in learning
