After I posted my question (Linguist 15.861) concerning the chinese
prenuclear glides, I have received several replies. I am really
obliged to their suggestions, esp. Professor Moiral Yip and Saso
Zivanovic. Here I post what I have benefited from them.

Professor Yip suggested consideing the data from dialects that have
not yet been looked at theoretically, because most of the existing
work is on Mandarin, Min and Kejia.

Alja Ferme and Saso Zivanovic suggested tackling the issue from the
perspective of GP, which can help to eliminate the controversy. and
etc.
