Description:

Bilkent University, an independent English-medium university in
Ankara, Turkey, is seeking to fill an assistant or associate level
position in its MA TEFL Program. The applicant must have an earned
doctorate in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field. The
applicant must also be able to teach two or more of the following:
second language acquisition, language and pedagogy research,
assessment, linguistics, sociolinguistics, EFL curriculum
development. Experience in linguistics and quantitative research
methods is especially desirable. As all instruction is in English,
native-level competency in English is also required. Responsibilities
include teaching two graduate level courses per semester and advising
students on theses.  The position is one-year, with possible renewal,
beginning September 1, 2004. Salary is competitive and commensurate
with experience. Bilkent University also provides furnished on-campus
