Abstract:

The Department of English in Lund: Working Papers in Linguistics is an annual volume produced
by the English Department at Lund University in Sweden. Its main aim is to publicize research
being carried out by staff and post-graduate students in the department, but we are also
pleased to include contributions from members of neighbouring departments and universities.
Exchanges with similar publications are welcome. All articles are freely downloadable from the
web.
