Dear List Members,

In order to protect our subscribers from spam, LINGUIST has decided to
disable the email address-finder previously available at

http://linguistlist.org/search/addresses.html.

This facility searched the LINGUIST subscriber list and displayed email
addresses on web pages, from which they could possibly be 'harvested' by
spam-bots.

We are now providing email addresses through our Directory of Linguists,
which is protected from machine harvesting by a password system. To find an
address, simply go to our person directory (http://linguistlist.org/people/) and
type in the password provided via a human-readable image.

Alternatively, you may browse the LSA list of active members at
http://www.lsadc.org/index2.php?aaa=members.htm.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation in
this matter.
