Description:

Applicants should have a PhD in Linguistics with a research focus in
phonetics/phonology.  Those with additional training in computational
linguistics and/or statistical analysis will be given priority consideration.
Further qualifications include evidence of strong research potential and
commitment to excellence in teaching. Responsibilities will include teaching
undergraduate and graduate courses in linguistics, students supervision and
advising, and departmental service.

Interested applicants should send in directly to Graduate Institute of
Linguistics at National Taiwan University the following by Feb. 28, 2005:

(1)   Three copies of CV, which should at least include publication list of
different categories, such as journal papers, conference papers, book articles,
books, together with personal information, work experience and title of the PhD
dissertation,
(2)   three copies of PhD diploma,
(3)   three copies of graduate transcripts,
(4)   evidence of work experience (if any),
(5)   three letters of recommendation and
(6)   six copies of representative publication (after May 2002 ) and
supporting publications after August 2000.
