We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.

To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at
http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.html.

Dear all,

I am interested in properties and uses of language forms in which English
gets mixed with local languages. For this purpose I have put together a
file with a list of questions to which you can get web access here:

http://www-englishes.uni-regensburg.de/Questions_on_Mixing/index.shtml

I'd appreciate it very much if you could
(a) take a few minutes to respond to this questionnaire, fill it in/out and
send it back to me; and/or
(b) spread this file (and also this message) to others, e.g. to colleagues
and in particular students, who might also be willing to get involved and
to respond.

Thank you very much for your time and effort, and I look forward to hearing
from you!

Best regards,
Edgar Schneider
