Description:

The Institute of Computational Linguistics (University of Zurich, Switzerland)
has an immediate opening for a PhD student to carry out research in the area of
sentiment detection. The position is funded by the Swiss National Science
Foundation (SNF). 

Duration: 3 years.
Salary: Beginning salary CHF 39'600/y, rising to CHF 45'600/y.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in computational
linguistics, especially statistical NLP including machine learning (MSc, or
equivalent). A keen interest in the topic of sentiment detection and the will to
pursue a doctoral degree in Computational Linguistics at the University of
Zurich are expected.
