This events highlights the latest developments in language learning and teaching
through intensive courses with leading experts in the field. For more
information, visit the conference website. 

The Inaugural Summer Institution for Language Teaching will present the latest
in development in language and teaching. It is headed by Prof. David Nunan, from
the University of New South Wales, Australia. Course conveners include Steve
Andrews, (University of Hong Kong), Lyle Bachman (University of California - Los
Angeles), MaryAnn Christison (University of Utah), Chris Davison (University of
New South Wales), Denise Murray (Macquarie University), Adrian Palmer
(University of Utah), Brian Paltridge (University of Sydney), and Sue Starfield
(University of New South Wales).
