Meeting Description:

The 1st meeting on Experimental Psycholinguistics in Brazil - EXFA - aims at 
bringing together scholars working in all fields of psycholinguistics 
(language acquisition, language processing and neurolinguistics) within the 
generative grammar framework. EXFA will provide a forum for presentation 
and discussion of current and innovative psycholinguistic research 
developed under experimental paradigms on any topic concerning syntax, 
semantics, morphology, phonology and interface phenomena in any 
language(s). The official language of the meeting is English. 

Call For Papers

Abstracts are invited for oral presentation (30-minute presentation plus 10-
minute discussion) in all fields of psycholinguistics (language acquisition, 
language processing and neurolinguistics) within the generative grammar 
framework but restricted to experimental methodologies exploring core 
aspects of grammar (syntax, semantics, morphology, phonology) and 
interfaces. 

Abstract Submission

Abstracts should be anonymous and no longer than two pages, including 
references and examples, with margins of at least 1 inch, Times New 
Roman 12, single-spaced. Submissions are limited to a maximum of one 
individual and one joint abstract per author. Abstracts should be written in 
English.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically in PDF format to the following 
address in two files - one them anonymous: exfa.brazil at gmail.com

The subject of the message should be: ABSTRACT SUBMISSION. The body 
of the message should include the title of the abstract, the name of the 
author(s), affiliation(s) and an alternative email address. 
 
The deadline for submission is September 5, 2010.

Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to the authors by October 5, 
2010.
