Meeting Description:

The Conference aims at pursuing international communication between 
specialists in different fields of Phonetics. Integration of the Russian 
Federation into Global Educational Space brings new opportunities of 
sharing experience and enrichment of knowledge in the Theory of 
Phonetics and Phonology, acoustic and perceptual analysis, computer 
speech modeling, methods of teaching pronunciation for foreign learners, 
cross-language studies and in other directions. We hope that the 
Conference will contribute to working out more efficient ways of dealing with 
challenging issues in the ares mentioned. We expect that certain questions 
will be answered and even more - asked. 

Call For Papers

Authors are invited to submit papers for 20-minute general session talks on
original, unpublished research in all areas of phonetics.

Title, abstract of maximum 200 words and manuscripts should be sent by e-
mail to androsova_s at mail.ru Please put «PhwB-2011» in the subject field of 
your message.

All manuscripts must be in English.
Papers will be reviewed by two or more reviewers.
The paper must be not more than 10 A4 pages in .doc or .odt and PDF files. 
Paper format requirements will be available after October 20, 2010.
One of the following IPA fonts is to be used for conference papers:
IPA-SAM phonetic fonts: http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/shop/fonts.php 
SIL phonetic fonts: http://scripts.sil.org/encore-ipa-download 

Deadline for title and abstract submission: November 30, 2010
Deadline for paper submission: January 30, 2011
Notification of Acceptance: March 14, 2011
Deadline for revised papers: March 28, 2011
