Abstract:
Lernen ist ein eigenständiger, mentaler Prozess, der sowohl auf kognitiven
als auch auf emotionalen Prozessen basiert. In dieser Arbeit wird belegt,
dass es lernförderlich ist, die Gefühle von Lernern im
Fremdsprachenunterricht zu berücksichtigen. Der Datensatz setzt sich aus
15 qualitativen, problemzentrierten und halboffenen Interviews zusammen,
die mit fortgeschrittenen Lernern des Deutschen als Fremdsprache
durchgeführt wurden. Die Untersuchung hat gezeigt, dass Gefühle eine
bedeutende Rolle in Bezug auf das subjektive Lernempfinden einnehmen. Sie
entstehen einerseits in Abhängigkeit zu verschiedenen Faktoren, die das
Unterrichtsgeschehen ausmachen, aber können andererseits auch einen
stark individuell geprägten Charakter aufweisen.
Inhalt: Die Rolle von Emotionen/Gefühlen im Fremdsprachenunterricht -
Emotionen/Gefühle aus psychologischer und neurologischer Perspektive -
Bedeutsame Hirnstrukturen für Emotionen/Gefühle - Zusammenhang von
Lernen, Gedächtnis und Emotionen - Ursachen und Wirkungen von Gefühlen
auf das Lernen.
Nicole Ogasa hat in Hamburg, Hawaii und New York studiert. Nach
Auslandsaufenthalten als Dozentin für Englisch und Deutsch in China, Indien,
Japan und Österreich ist sie seit 2005 Dozentin für deutsche Sprache an der
Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in Malaysia. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte
sind Lernpsychologie und Psycholinguistik.
