The Linguistics Department of the Faculty of Philology is seeking to fill the

W2-Professor of General Linguistics (Specialization: Language Typology)

to begin on April 1, 2012.

Within the larger field of general linguistics, the holder of this position will
conduct both teaching and research in the area of language typology.
Applicants are expected to have an excellent scientific record in this area
