We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.

To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at
http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.cfm.

Dear all,

I'm looking for speakers of Polish, preferably those who are familiar
with English as well, who could help me with my study by filling in an
online questionnaire related to translation of literature.

If you want to contribute and have about 5-10 minutes to spare -
please visit this webpage: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/L7R68HF

The experiment, of which this survey is part of, will compare how
particular terms are received in two versions of a text (a translation and
the original text). The fragments which were used in the survey come
from "Ferdydurke", a classic of Polish literature. The aim of these
surveys is to prove, or disprove, the claims laid forward in my thesis,
which I am currently working on.

Thank you for your attention\Dzi?kuj? za uwag?,
Bartosz Walos
