The Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of
Arkansas-Fayetteville is pleased to announce that a new master's program in
TESOL is being launched for Fall 2013. The program is designed to prepare
teachers in the U.S. and abroad to teach English to learners whose first
language is not English; graduates are also prepared to create and implement
curriculum and appropriate assessments for English as a second language (ESL).
It also prepares students for further graduate study (Education Specialist or
Ph.D.s). Included in the course work for the M.Ed. are the four courses
required by the Arkansas Department of Education for endorsement in ESL.

For more information about the TESOL program, please contact Dr. Felicia
Lincoln at flincoln at uark.edu or Dr. Hayriye Kayi-Aydar at hayriyek at uark.edu

For more information about the admission requirements, please visit
http://grad.uark.edu/future/applying/index.php

Fall applications will be accepted until August 1.
